That first smile
I am enjoying these days with our newborn son very much. It is amazing to watch how big Thomas has grown already! He is especially responsive to my voice, turning his head toward me, or calming down when he hears me. It is a wonderful privilege of being a mother!
I think I was the lucky recipient of his first smile! It’s hard to say, as newborns make all kinds of funny facial expressions, even smiling in their sleep. But I am quite sure it was a reciprocal smile!
