Milk
The girls have been coloring furiously, now that I have notified them that school will start next Monday. They usually like to color together, ask each other to pass “______” color, and talk about which color would look best for their drawings.
Also recently, I have introduced skim milk to our family’s refrigerator. My kids are amazed that one can buy milk in four different percentages of fat, with corresponding colored tops, including skim milk with its light blue cap.
Certainly this must be the motivating factor for Teresa’s cute remark this morning at breakfast. Asking the children if they wanted “milk or water” to drink, Teresa responded, “Mommy, I want skin color milk!”
